I have to admit it; I had a problem while my man went to visit his grown son from a previous marriage and *she* was there—sharing a room with him! In a drunken haze I downloaded this e-book and attempted to read the spinning pages (my fault, not the book's). I found it repetitive and somewhat insipid and yet . . . it was like talking to a friend who is maybe not as book-smart but infinitely more sensible and rational than I was inclined to be at that moment. I barely got through the first few chapters, but that was enough to rationalize me through my jealousy issues. By the time I was sober, I was feeling much, much better.Mind you, this is not great literature. It's not even good literature, but it may just be the gentle, reassuring voice you need to get over your issues. I haven't looked at it at all since the night I bought it, but I haven't needed to. The book gave me the foundation I needed to talk to my man about the way I was feeling and why I felt that way, so those ugly feelings haven't come up since. Yeah, it isn't great literature, but it's like talking to a great, sensible friend.
